While she rehabs from injury, Maria Sharapova was spotted at a promotional event for Cole Haan at the CH store at the Village of Merrick Park in Coral Gables, Florida on Wednesday (March 25).

Flaunting her elongated lean frame, the tennis star toted a “Phoebe” bag at the same time as sporting “London Air T-strap” shoes; which are both accessible from this season’s Cole Haan line retail stores.

Attending the fan salutation Sharapova declares, “Any time I can give my time, I’m happy to do it. The Maria they see on court is very aggressive and in these situations I’m much friendlier.’’

Maria tells acknowledging her fan’s nervousness when they are around her, “They get very excited and don’t know where anything is. They lose their pens, their cameras.”

Speaking about her return to the WTA Tour, Maria clarifies, “I’m getting over the hump on not having the [same] strength. I hope to be playing again soon”
